Teacher’s Day in Previous Years

Over the years, hundreds of thousands of people have acknowledged and celebrated Teacher’s Day. Some of the participants in the celebrations have been: Israel’s president, Reuven (Ruby) Rivlin, public representatives, public opinion leaders and many more. The Israeli Kensset had officially marked Teacher’s Day in a special meeting, to which past teachers of Knesset members were invited for a festive celebration and who received recognition for their work in education. Thousands of schools throughout the country celebrated Teacher’s Day and the celebrations were made possible thanks to parents, school principals and students who were dedicated to make the day a success. Thousands of thank you letters were sent to teachers, many celebratory activities were conducted across the country and the events received wide media coverage by many media channels.
